Wellington, officially incorporated December 31, 1995, is an affluent community known for its abundance of equestrian activities, parks, beautiful neighborhoods and great schools.
Wellington was once the world’s largest strawberry patch now has a goal to be a World Class equestrian community. There are more than 57 miles of multi-purpose trails for equestrian use, biking, hiking and running. Wellington hosts the Winter Equestrian Festival which is the world’s largest horse show. It takes place over eight weeks and draws top equestrians from all over the world.
